Shiatsu:
Literally translated from Japanese: “pressure with fingers” (SHI = fingers, ATSU = pressure) Shiatsu: A Japanese bodywork therapy with its origins based in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Shiatsu: Works on the balance of Ki energy within the body. Rythmic pressure is placed along the meridians and acupuncture points. The treatment involves pressure with the palms, hands, or thumbs, also involved are stretches, rotations and gentle adjustments of the musculo - skeletal system and connective tissue. |
