Do In - shiatsu self massage

Exercises used in a Do-In session:

Hara Breathing: methods of using the breath to centre the Ki in the Hara, or abdomen.

Self-Shiatsu Massage: a series of massage techniques to restore the flow of Ki along the meridians, using tapping, squeezing, rubbing and pressure to the whole body.

Masunaga meridian Stretches: very similar to  Yoga postures, but designed to stimulate and rebalance the Ki along associated pairs of the 12 main Ki meridians in the body.

Meditation: methods of meditation and contemplation to quieten the mind and increase awareness and understanding.

Qi gong exercises
Chinese origin. Involves the coordination of different breathing patterns with various physical postures and motions of the body.

The Do-in, when practised regularly strengthens the body, improves posture and flexibility, boosts energy levels to acheive vibrant health.
A great way to de-stress and relax.
